No Turkey of a Forecast

We ended the weekend on a pleasant (mild) note… with fair skies and highs in the lower 50s.  This next week… while not perfect… doesn’t look too bad either.

Look for our trend of dry weather to continue through (at least) Thanksgiving… with just a slight chance of rain or snow early Friday.  Temperature-wise… we’ll see temps at or above average into the next weekend.  “Normal” highs are in the lower 40s… and I don’t see any significantly cold temps through Friday.

If you’re planning on traveling this week… although the numbers of travelers appears to be down this year… here are the highlights from across the country.  Look for cool to cold weather for the eastern half of the U.S. and the desert southwest… with warmer than average weather from the western Plains to the Pacific northwest.  I don’t see any major storm systems at this time to impact the country later this week… but there will be a few isolated locations that pick up snow or rain.  The most likely areas to see precipitation will be from the Mississippi River eastward.
