Bored to Death..

Ok.. not really, but this weather pattern is anything but interesting.  I’m also getting tired of finding new ways to say it’s been dry.  You know, we have a chance for rain tomorrow night and Wednesday and it would be awesome if we got 2″ of rain… then the statistics wouldn’t be so amazing.  However, I guess what is amazing is that even if we got 2″ of rain at this point, we’d still be below normal for the month.  We’ve have 0.15″ of rain so far this month, that’s 2.50″ below normal.

Today’s high is in the low 80s.  Those temperatures and the humidity are both at great and comfortable levels.  Therefore, if you enjoyed the weekend, you’ll like the rest of today.

A front is approaching us tomorrow night (Tuesday night and Wednesday morning) and we’ll see some decent rain chances from that front.  The best chance for rain would be Wednesday morning.  Another chance for rain late in the day on Thursday, but that chance doesn’t look as good.

After we get through those rain chances, our attention turns to Saturday, which is better known around here as Game Day.  Temperatures on that day should be in the upper 80s, with lots of sunshine.  88 is pretty warm, but the good news is that the game is in the evening.  Therefore, I think it should be pretty comfortable… especially by the second half.

Cheers,
John

  1. Like the new site. Could you look into the almanac update? It hasn’t been updated for awhile. Thanks!

  2. Hey I just found this blog and found it very interesting. I find it much better to learn about our drought classification and how much rain we’ve had for the month than just the current temp or highs and lows for the day. Sometimes it can be difficult to find that “extra” info online. So thanks.
